For this video and post, I had the pleasure of collaborating with Vancouver native Rimpy Sahota, owner of an incredibly successful women's clothing company. Her brand is all made in Canada and made to fit. Affordable luxury that I can totally get behind. We speak about how to streamline your style and declutter your closet in the process.

What would you say if I told you that in order to declutter your life, you first need to declutter your closet?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This is my mantra on decluttering. On average, women waste 12 hours a week worrying about how they look. That's 627 hours a year. Other studies show that just hearing the word 'declutter' triggers thoughts about people's closets, which is usually accompanied with worry and stress about finances, excess items, and disorganization in general.⠀⠀⠀

Your closet reflects the bigger picture of your life. And while digging deep into why you're holding onto some items or avoiding your closet altogether can be an uncomfortable process, I promise that by mastering closet organization, you'll feel more in control of every aspect of your life.

The closet is also an ideal place to practice and hone organizing skills that can transfer over to the rest of your spaces and goals. I know that if you start your day choosing clothes from a laser-focused closet, you’re well on your way to a structured, system-driven office space.
